The program cares for children and adolescents, ages 6 to 17, in a planned living and learning atmosphere in a group home setting. Psychotherapeutic interventions include: weekly individual therapy, daily therapy or skill groups, family therapy, regular and special education classes, and recreational activities. The program provides treatment of mental disorders diagnosed by a mental health professional. Length of stays are generally 4-6 months or longer.

While there are no requirements for private school accreditation in Arkansas, those who chose to gain greater credibility may be accredited through the Arkansas Nonpublic School Accrediting Association. A teaching certification is also not required for Arkansas although all all private school teachers are eligible for professional development services through the Arkansas Online Professional Development Initiative .
The only language used for instructing shall be English and an American flag must be prominently displayed. With the exception of those who have completed the application process for exemption, all students must have up to date immunizations.
Safety standards, such as regular fire drills and unlocked exits are mandatory for private schools in Arkansas and people loitering or trespassing on student grounds during school hours are subject to a fine.
